⎯ Children & Families

Little People. Big Part of the Church.

Your kids belong here, too.

At Fullness Church, we believe church should be a place where the whole family can grow in faith. That means we don't simply want parents to feel welcome while their children are somewhere else. We want children to know, this is their church, too.

A place where they are known.

A place where they are loved.

A place where they learn about Jesus.

A place where they build relationships.

A place where they begin learning what it means to follow Him.

And hopefully, a place they'll one day look back on and say: "That's the church I grew up in."

Whether you're carrying in an infant, chasing a toddler, bringing elementary-aged kids, or you've got a whole crew coming through the doors; we're glad they're here.

⎯ Our Heart for Families

Growing in faith together.

At Fullness Church, we prioritize families without making church only about families. Our church is for everyone — single adults, couples, parents, children, grandparents, empty nesters, and people in every season of life.

But we also believe the church has an important role to play in strengthening families and helping parents raise children who know, love, and follow Jesus. We believe parents are the primary spiritual influence in the lives of their children. Our job isn't to replace you. It's to come alongside you.

To encourage you.

Support you.

Reinforce biblical truth.

Build relationships with your children.

And help create a community where families can grow in faith together.

That's why our approach isn't simply "what do we do with the kids while the adults have church?" We want children to experience church as part of the church.

⎯ What About Sunday Morning?

We have a place for your kids.

Our children's ministry is growing right alongside our church. And Sunday morning starts together — children are welcome to worship alongside their families as we sing and participate together as a church. From there, children have the opportunity to stay with their parents or participate in an environment created with them in mind.

nursery

Available for our littlest ones. We know babies and toddlers come with bottles, diaper bags, nap schedules, separation anxiety, and sometimes very strong opinions about how Sunday morning should go. That's okay. Little ones are welcome here.

Our nursery procedures are designed to help us care for children safely and attentively, including check-in and release procedures, health and allergy information, sanitation practices, and clear expectations for the people serving with them.

Children's Church

Kids participate in age-appropriate activities and learn in a way designed for them. Our goal isn't simply to keep children occupied during the sermon. We want to disciple them, to help them know God, learn His Word, understand the Gospel, ask questions, build relationships, and begin discovering what it means to follow Jesus in their own lives.

And as they grow, we'll grow.

Fullness Church is new, and our children's ministry is still growing. We're not going to pretend we have programs or age divisions that don't exist yet. What we do have is a commitment to children. As God brings more families and children of different ages to Fullness, we'll continue developing ministry to serve and disciple them well. We're excited about what that can become.

⎯ Parents, We Understand

Trust matters.

We know handing your child over to someone you've just met isn't a small thing. You don't know us yet. We haven't earned your trust yet. And we respect that.

That's why we don't want to simply tell you that children's safety matters to us. We want our practices to reflect it. Our child-protection and children's ministry policies include safeguards such as:

Screening for children's ministry workers according to our child-protection policies.

Supervision and accountability standards for adults serving with children.

Check-in and authorized pickup procedures.

Emergency, health, and allergy information for children in our care.

Training and clear expectations for children's ministry workers.

Procedures for reporting and responding to safety concerns or incidents.

And make the decision that's right for your family. We don't want you to feel pressured into being comfortable before you actually are. You're their parent. We respect your judgment. The privilege of caring for your child comes with responsibility. We take both seriously.

Ask us about them

See the children's spaces

Meet the people who will be around your child

Ask how things work

Stay close, take your time

And make the decision that's right for your family. We don't want you to feel pressured into being comfortable before you actually are. You're their parent. We respect your judgment. The privilege of caring for your child comes with responsibility. We take both seriously.

⎯ What If My Child Doesn't Sit Still?

Then they sound like a kid. ❤️

Seriously. Children wiggle. Babies cry. Toddlers talk at inconvenient times. Someone will probably need a snack. Someone else may suddenly need to use the bathroom at the exact wrong moment. That's life with kids.

We don't want parents spending the entire service anxious that their children are bothering everyone around them. We prioritize families without expecting children to suddenly stop being children when they walk through the church doors.

Give yourself some grace. Give them some grace. And know that we're glad your family came.

⎯ More Than a Kids Program

We want to help build lifelong faith.

A great Sunday morning matters. But our hope for the children at Fullness goes much further than that. We want to see children grow into teenagers, teenagers grow into young adults, and young adults step into the world with a faith that has become their own.

We want them to know Scripture.

Know how to pray.

Know what they believe.

Know that they can bring their questions to God.

Know what it means to serve others.

Know how to live out their faith beyond Sunday.

And above all, know, love, and follow Jesus.

Because our goal isn't simply to raise children who know how to go to church. We want to help raise disciples — young people whose faith shapes the way they live, who love God, who love people, who use their gifts to serve, and who one day help others follow Jesus too.

We believe parents have an incredibly important role in that. And we believe the church gets the privilege of coming alongside them. Not replacing parents, but supporting them, encouraging them, and reinforcing what's being taught at home.

⎯ Imagine Them Years From Now

This is bigger than one Sunday.

One day, the baby you're carrying won't be a baby anymore. The toddler running around your house will be a teenager. The child asking endless questions will start wrestling with bigger ones. And eventually, they'll begin making decisions about faith for themselves.

Our hope is that some of the children walking through the doors of Fullness today will grow up here.

That they'll have memories of worshiping alongside their family.

Opening their Bibles.

Learning about Jesus.

Asking questions.

Serving other people.

Making friends.

Being prayed for.

Being encouraged.

And being surrounded by people who genuinely cared about who they were becoming.

And we hope that faith doesn't stop with them. That what God does in their lives overflows into the people around them.

Until one day they can look back and say: "That's the church I grew up in." And we'll be able to look at who they've become and say: "Look what God has done."
